back in the saddle

i guess you could say that today is the first day im officially back in the saddle, trying to get back into my old routine and really go for it. its only mid day but so far so good

bfast-light yoplait yogurt

lunch-spinach salad w/lean ham and turkey and lots of veggies in the mix, a tangelo and a fat free pudding cup
dinner--turkey sausage w/ mustard and a wee bit of ketchup, pierogis and veggies
i am still about 800 under my range for the day so i may go snack on some veggies or fruit
did a 14 minute mile with dh and only felt like i was gonna fall out a couple of times :) ha! he was worse off than i was though which made me feel good, not that im happy he is out of shape but he doesn't have a weight issue so ya know?

i could not drag my butt out of bed to walk this morning so dh and i walked when i got home from work.

im rockin a seeeerious migraine which im thinking may be related to caffeine, or my body just freaking out asking why, why are you doing this? lol in all seriousness, my body will be thanking me because im going to take some seriously good care of it! let's hope it will anyway

happy 2009

so here is it.....a new year, a new chance to make better choices than in the past. a new opportunity to work harder to achieve goals and visions. another chance to push myself and do the right thing.

i intend to take full advantage of this opportunity.

today i hopped on the scale and 380 was what stared me in the face. so that is what i will log is as my start on this newest leg of my journey. i plan to take measurements as soon as i can find my measuring tape which seems to have grown legs.

so let's get off the couch together and do this in 09'! xo
